ABOUT THE LEGEND COURSE

This introductory yet life-changing class is rooted in myth-making, image-making, causitive and curative consciousness all applied through the framework of Intentional Creativity®.

LEGEND is designed for absolute beginners to experience a journey that will influence how every woman sees herself, her body, her story, and her archetype.

My name is Shiloh Sophia. I am a Teacher, Curator and have been teaching this class every year since I was 38 years old, it is that important to me and my body of work.

This annual event is my offering to the women of the world, and one of the most sacred gifts I know about. I learned it from my own mothers and now I share it with you and you can share it with others.

The way I see it is ... If you don't tell your own story at this point in your life, someone else will do it for you. They already have been and will continue to do so until you say - NO MORE. This is my story to tell.

The LEGEND course shows you HOW to BECOME at cause for your own story.

You may wonder, "Just what kind of course could create this experience for me?" Good question.

We have created this entire website so you can explore it for yourself. Many women are scared to try it because they think they don't have what it takes. Yet we are telling you the reality right here:

Everyone deserves to have access to painting, storytelling, and a circle of supportive women to guide you along the path and keep you company.

A personal message from Shiloh Sophia about Clan Cura and the theme.

This Legend will include a core teaching transmission from Sue Hoya Sellars aka Bayou Starbutch about encodings and activating potentials. From Caron McCloud aka Mama Cloud about Identity and no longer being hidden. From Carmen Baraka aka Spirit Warrior on Quantum love and Ceremony.

Yes. I am using the word Shamanka respectfully and intentionally, meaning female shaman, meaning the healing one within each of us. We aren't claiming the word as our own in any way, rather we are using this term to point towards the awakening of the healer within each one of us no matter where we come from. Carmen used to say that we must each find the shaman that lives within us - not to need to claim that we are that for others or hang a shingle, but that we are that first for ourselves. There isn't a word that means what we are talking about, but perhaps in the cave of the wild grandmother we will find the archetype we are seeking as women at this time. We shall see. Carmen was going to join us for a LEGEND course on the Inner Healer in 2020 when she began to be ill. We talked about it and went round and round and round and the course was never made. We met January 1, 2020 to discuss. Sue was going to join us for Legend 2015 focused around the Selkie woman story. The conversations with each of them won't leave me until I lead the course that we were going to lead together, but now with all of you - for the reasons they both had about why this matters.

They walked on before we had a chance to do the next Legend. I have to keep sharing what they taught.

About tuition support? If you want to come to Sonoma, we want to help this be possible, so we have a payment plan available. If you need to stretch payments for a longer time period we are happy to consider your needs. Email sarah@musea.org.

About refunds: Due to the nature of this event, it is non-refundable. You can transfer your tuition to another woman or we can issue a full credit if you cancel with reasonable cause such as illness or personal emergency.

Your materials are included. We do recommend bringing your own set of brushes, journal, and a few other things we will share in preparation.

About Meals:

We ask that you have breakfast before you arrive. For lunch, you can bring one with you or we can order simple foods from the deli. For dinner, you may choose to dine with your Legend sisters. For that, we recommend making a reservation.

Transportation and Lodging:

Are organized independently. A list of lodging ideas and travel details will be provided to help you plan.

*PLEASE NOTE: Due to potential unforeseen circumstances, we highly recommend that you purchase travel insurance and book lodging that can be canceled within a reasonable timeframe.
